Today, let’s try a Strawberry Photo Meditation with a macro photo of a strawberry to help you refocus, get energy, heal and just enjoy some fine art photography.
Have you noticed that it is very difficult to find strawberries that look identical? When you look at a strawberry, you can always discover something new, that’s why it is a perfect fruit to for a food meditation.
Below is a photo of a strawberry just in case you don’t have real strawberries at the moment.
- Sit comfortable. Close your eyes and take five deep breaths.
- Open your eyes and look at each photo of a strawberry very closely.
- Keep on breathing.
- Notice small things that you have never seen or paid attention to before. Notice the differences in these strawberries, including their color and shape.
- Keep on breathing.
- Now let us try to use some imagination of yours: Can you smell a strawberry? How about its taste? Is it sweet and ripe or a little bit sour?
- Keep on breathing.
- Try to think of nothing else but strawberries in front of you as long as you can. It will help you clear your mind and feel much better.
- Keep on breathing.
- When you are ready, take a couple of deep breaths and get back to your daily routine.
P.S. Did you know that if we want to meditate on love we can pick a rose or strawberry incense? I think a real organic strawberry will be much better, because you will savor it after meditation.
